“Consideration of AT is a critical and foundational aspect of AT processes in the schools. With the understanding that students’ needs vary greatly, we will discuss how school teams can create a consistent process for consideration of AT for students on their caseload. At times the outcome of AT considerations is that the team feels an AT Assessment is needed. Who is qualified to conduct an AT Assessment? Is there a process to follow for each AT assessment, considering the wide range of needs? We will discuss long standing resources that provide structure and consistency in the AT assessment process dependent on areas of need.”
